Dr. Chhadva is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in cornea, cataract, and anterior segment surgery.
Dr. Chhadva completed a distinguished fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Prior to this, she was at the University of Illinois Chicago – Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary for residency and earned her medical degree from the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Chhadva has also completed a year-long research fellowship at the world-renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida.
During her training, Dr. Chhadva authored numerous journal articles, scientific abstracts, and textbook chapters. She has also presented her work at many national ophthalmology conferences. She maintains professional memberships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Cornea Society, and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. She has dedicated time to community outreach by volunteering with medical missions in Jamaica, Haiti, Dominican Republic, and India.
Her goal is to provide personalized care to each patient by using the most effective and current treatments possible. As an asset to our diverse community of patients, Dr. Chhadva is fluent in Spanish and Gujarati.
Dr. Chhadva is a valuable addition to our community as a highly skilled ophthalmologist with a comprehensive, patient-centered approach. She brings with her the most advanced techniques in ophthalmic surgery to provide our patients with excellence in corneal diseases, cataract surgery, and anterior segment surgery.
Dr. Doug Flor is an optometrist who graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry and has been on staff at Marshburn Eye Center since 2000. Dr. Flor concentrates his expertise on family and geriatric eye care, glasses and contact lens fitting, and pre- and post-operative care for cataract surgery. He is the past recipient of the Bartley Optical Award which recognizes outstanding clinical performance and has also received awards for excellence in patient care.
Dr. David Marshburn is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received his medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences. During his years in practice he has performed over 10,000 cataract surgeries and thousands of laser procedures. Dr. Marshburn lectures frequently to other ophthalmologists on the latest advancements in intraocular lenses used in cataract surgery.
Dr. Marc Mintz is a board-certified ophthalmologist who received his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Education and had a private practice for 17 years before joining Marshburn Eye Center in 1999. He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating eye diseases. Currently, Dr. Mintz specializes in comprehensive medical ophthalmology.
